Higher Performing Workplaces

The WYCC Higher Performing Workplaces delivers packages of skills support to grow internal talent in Small and Medium companies (under 250 employees). Higher Performing Workplaces (HPW) helps Small Businesses address the skills and productivity issues of employees in the sectors presenting the greatest opportunities for economic growth in Leeds City Region (Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Halifax, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Skipton, Wakefield , Wetherby or York ).

Higher Performing Workplaces Aims To:

  • Promote higher levels of females in leadership positions
  • Improve staff motivation, leadership, communication and teamwork
  • Increase staff retention
  • Support with longer–term skills planning to help realise business ambitions, diversification, new products, markets or expansion
  • Enhance employee involvement and commitment to the company
  • Ensure higher levels of financial performance 
  • Enhance and enable business strategy and operational planning to achieve growth
